Try scrubbing with a copper or stainless steel scrubber and water. I prefer to not use chemicals if it's on the inside. Baking soda can be used as an abrasive for the interior if needed. If it's outside, you can use bar keeper's friend.

    Hello,

I like Barkeepers Friend for stains on pots cutlery corningware and pyrex. Its a fabulous product that should be in everyone’s cleaning arsenal.

Use 2 cups white vinegar and 1 cup water, bring to a boil then turn burner off. Put lid on a let sit overnight. Might need to do a couple of times, but safe and non toxic.

Soak overnight in soapy water and that should loosen it.

Hi Connie, hope this helps. Boil water in the pot, then let is sit in the pot and cool. Once it cools, use a non metal scrubber like scrunge to remove the residue, then rinse thoroughly.
