  The original question posted requested pecan pie recipes.
  
  It was later modified. Easy way to bake anything messy is to bake on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper for easier cleanup.
  
  My parents taught me that, but not everyone has a mom or dad to do that. It was also taught in Hometalk Ec way back when they used to teach it and only allow girls and boys took shop. My girlfriends parents challenged the local Board of Education to "allow" a girl to take wood shop and metal shop. Guess what? She won and became a racecar driver and a fantastic mother who cooks and bakes.

I use the one on the back of the Karo dark syrup bottle and it always comes out well.

Place pie on a cookie sheet in the oven. Line the cookie sheet with baking parchment paper, for easy clean up!
