Bartenders secret you can get at grocery store .
clr , iron out. When I bought this place...my tub looked worse than yours. Oh ya almost forgot goof off rust stain remover. It’s a spray gel. What really helped is putting iron removing pellets in the water softener. A bit more expense....but worth it. Not an option if you don’t have a water softener.
Try CLR.
WOW! Is it well water?! You may need an iron filter tied into the water main coming into the house. To really clean it use Easy Off No Fume Oven Cleaner in the BLUE can. Spray it on and let it sit till it liquefies. You may need to scrub with Magic Eraser. Won't scratch the finish. Wear rubber gloves and eye protection when scrubbing. Do open windows. Works on enamel, porcelain and fiberglass.
Baking soda sprinkle a lot in the tub then spritz wth water let sit for 20 min, I would recommend adding a water soften otherwise it will be a battle cleaning
IRON OUT
Bar keepers friend scouring powder and scrubby side of sponge
After you get it clean use a car polish on the sides, NOT the bottom where you sit or stand; and that should prevent the water from sticking to the sides. At least you would only have to clean the bottom of the tub vs. the entire tub. This should also work on the walls surrounding the tub. Hope it helps.
zud----its the best
