Trisodium phosphate or TSP. Works like a dream and it's not messy. Removes the glue plus any grease, grime and dirt built up. Perfect for before you do anything to your walls like painting, tiling, stenciling or re-papering. Inexpensive and you can get it at Home Depot, Lowes, etc.Helpful Reply -
