First, test the WD-40 on a patch of the plastic to make sure that it won't harm the sticker if you plan to keep it. Then, spray degreaser on a clean cloth or directly on the sticky label or glue residue. Rub in a circular motion with a towel until the sticker pulls away.
Soak in water with a little bit of oxyclean in it.
Then rub it off
Goo Gone works great.
I use vegetable oil most of the time. GooGone is a commercial product but I think it has the same properties as WD-40 , which also works.

I like to use minerals spirits, low odor it works well on lots of differant glues, creyons

I find that lighter fliud has been excellent aid to remove any kind of sticker and its residue. It’s small tipped applicator applicator bottle is very useful as well as not to overuse a lot of chemicals. Perhaps using this as a soaking solvent buster and then using a depleted gift card as a scraper will solve your situation
