I have knotty alder cabinets and would like to know what others use to clean them. Oils do not soak into the wood and it maybe that it has a clear coat finish. I use Murphy's oil soap, but I know there must be something better to use to clean off drips and spills down the cabinets.

i use Purple Power from Walmart or Automotive stores. You can mix it to whatever strength you need. Wear gloves, use a microfiber cloth Purple Power cleans just about anythingHelpful Reply -
