What’s the best way, to clean your kitchen ceiling before panting

Brush it down good with a broom after that you can do a first coat of primer on any stains before doing a full coat over the entire ceiling and then painting.

I wash clients ceilings with Dollar Tree Awesome Orange in the half gallon, if it has obvious grease over the stove, I will use the Awesome Degreaser using a car sponge. Wear rubber gloves and goggles, and get the round kitchen scrubby too for stubborn spots. I put the Orange in hot water and wipe til its clean..... great for getting off cigarette smoke too.

When painting I always wash all surfaces with TSP or some sort of degreaser. Kitchen ceiling can get greasy even if they do not look like it. Then prime, then paint. If you do not clean the paint will fail in the short term, then it is a bigger mess to fix.
