Car widow cleaner that's 100% streak free?

My interior car windows stay smeary or smudgy when they are cleaned with OTC sprays. Dragging out a bucket with water, soap, etc. makes it extremely difficult to do interior car windows, sometimes a newspaper isn't readily available. Any suggestions?

vinegar and newspaper works the best

    • I have found too, that vinegar is the best. Instead of newspapers, just try coarse (cheap) paper towels. I do all my windows once a month and I will never use anything else, ever.

Sprayway window cleaner works for me provided I use just the quickest of spray across window/mirror/glass. Amount above that will leave film.

I use a mix of water, vinegar and ammonia, spray on and wipe with a micro fiber tag and then with a coffee filter. No streaks and way less expensive than ITS cleaner. I mix water and vinegar about half and half and add about a tablespoon of ammonia.

A tip that I have found very helpful, no matter which cleaner you're using, is to use newspaper as your "rag" for cleaning. Try that first to see if it does the job.

Use one part lemon ammonia and 10 parts water in a spray bottle, use two different microfiber towels, one to clean it with then then one to dry with. When drying wipe in the opposite direction that you used to clean to get rid of streaks. Example: Clean horizontal, dry vertical

Newspaper isn't the best thing to use anymore since they changed the ink several years ago . Use a microfiber cloth, found at the Dollar Tree. Mix a solution of 1/4 cup of vinegar , 2 cups water and 1/2 tsp. Dawn in a spray bottle and shake it up. Best window cleaner you can find .
