Dirt & water from the balcony above mine

My condo balcony is always dusty & dirty from debris from the above balcony. Is there an inexpensive idea for how somebody has had to deal with this?

You could put a tarp, or (for a more attractive option) patio privacy material which comes in a variety of prints and patterns on the "ceilling" of your balcony. You could even use regular wood panels, just protect them with a sealant made for outdoor wood furniture.

I would contact the manager. They are suppose to have AstroTurf or indoor/outdoor carpeting. If you have to, offer to pay for it only if they take it off the rent. Good luck!

Maybe ask your neighbor to use a dust pan when they sweep..
