How can I remove rust from tools?

    sand paper / remove loose rust. then apply acid( rust remover or converter. then thouroly clean and paint with rust oleum

    There is something we always used and it is called >>>"NAVEL GEL." Been such a long time since I have used it so the directions are up to you off of the jar. It is good to use on some vintage items without worry. It works without all the above work.

    Vinegar will remove the rust! Letrool soak for about 10-15 minutes then use steel wool or a hard bristle brush to scrub off. Good luck!

    Scrub with steel wool pads to remove the rust.

    Put down newspaper and use steel wool with some kind of oil, like WD40 or left over engine oil. Will take the rust right off and gives the tool a good look. Followup with polishing with a clean rag...
