How to get dryer sheet smell out of rv?

We recently bought an older Airstream that the previous owners stored with lots of smelly dryer sheets to keep mice away. We have tried essential oil and commercial sprays but it doesn't help.

  • Baking soda, charcoal, and wipe all hard surfaces down with vinegar, then rinse. Take curtains and cushions out and wash if possible.

First I would remove or wash or clean anything fabric, which is holding the smell.

Then I would wipe down everything wipe-able with watered vinegar.

I would then dump lots of baking soda on anything vacuumable, including furniture. Leave it for a day and then vacuum.

Do the baking soda again if necessary. Cheap enough

    Good luck.

Sprinkle fresh coffee grounds throughout the rv then close up for a few days. Coffee grounds will clear any area of even the worse smells within days. More is better within reason. Sprinkle on any area that can be vacuumed easily. Removing or washing any surface of materials you want to keep before doing the coffee treatment.
