I was able to skim most of the nail polish off the water with a paper towel. Then strained the water down the sink and threw whatever else was left in the trash.
I see many are offering different solutions, so I will send you the whole page of videos. Good luck!

Hi Jo,
I would use a paper towel to remove all of the excess polish. Then you can simply throw the water away. If you're nervous about putting it down your drain, you could put it on the dirt outside. Just be sure that there is no nail polish left in the container. If there is nail polish dried on the side of the container, it won't come out when you pour the water. That can be cleaned up later with nail polish remover. Wishing you the best.
Do not put it down the sink, if you do not have a cup or vase to use up most the nail polish, can you seal it with a lead or press and seal plastic wrap and get a couple cups or vase at the dollar tree? It is almost mother's day, or teacher appreciation, or even a friend and give it away. After you have used up all the nail polish on top, throw the water out in the yard. I keep that dish dry and in my craft things, I do not use it for anything else now. Hope this helps.
