How to make fake tombstones glow in the dark ?

I used glow in the dark spray paint on my fake tombstones but they only glow if I put a dark light on them and I don’t want 15 of those in my yard. Is there something else I can use?

Hi Ellie,
Well, I am not sure what you are asking. If you want a lower number of dark light tombstones in your yard then just put the others aside and use which ones you prefer. Are you trying to find a glow in the dark spray paint that does not require a dark light?
There is acrylic craft paint that is glow in the dark. I did stars in my boys room and they glow all night, no blacklight needed and they hardly get any sun so they're not soaking up much uv rays, with your tombstones being outside they will probably glow pretty bright
I don't know if this will work, but how about using battery-operated tealights?
Check Wal-Mart or a local craft store, not sure home depot will carry it
If they are styrofoam, spray paint may very well "melt" them so test first.
Ellie, it might not be what you want but dollar store solar lights that you could paint the lenses green, yellow, purple.... if you put 2 or 3 at the base of the stone it could be eerie looking. You could also use battery operated string lights. You could also use tube lights. I've not really found any really good paint that works. Good luck. Happy Halloween!
Ellie, I've used glow in the dark acrylic craft paint before and it worked really good. I got it at Walmart, but I would think any craft store would carry it. I'm afraid the spray paint would melt your styrofoam.
