How do I remodel my small bathroom to look beautiful for V-Day?

My home was built in the 1940's and the bathroom still had that look. Though I've installed a raised toilet and put in burgundy and gold floral curtains and drapes to match. They go well with thegreat and burgundy tile on the walls and shower but it's in need of some love. Every time I had the plumber come out to fix the sink or tub. He'd say when are you going to update this bathroom. So I'm really in need of help and suggestions on how to shows the love. Especially since it has no shower and my husband loves to shower.

Does the bathroom have a tub but no shower? I would think you could add a shower to the tub since the plumbing is already there. Here are more suggestions.

You can't remodel a bathroom in 4 days. Add some pretty new fluffy towels, some candles and fresh flowers and call it a day. If you want to "remodel" by adding a shower for your husband, this is an undertaking and requires a contractor, building permits among other things.
