If you have table pads, now is the time to use them. Cut an old flat sheet a bit smaller then your tablecloth. Place the sheet down first and then the silk table cloth on top.

I put a small rubber mat under mine. The kind of mat used in kitchen cupboards and sold at Walmart. They are cheap, none skid and won't mar the table.

Try a few pieces of the non-skid shelf liner. You can usually find it at the Dollar Store.
