How do you get chicken wire on the roll to lay flat

Weight and roll the other way. -

Roll the opposite way let sit for a while(days maybe) unroll and if you have a sheet of plywood or paneling lay it on top and weigh down with books, weights,bricks whatever you might have with some weight. -

That's how I would do it. -

Roll in the oposing directions. I would wear protective gloves handling any metal mesh or fencing.
