Most print out the pattern, place it on the backside of the glass, outline the glass or just paint using the pattern.

Any stencils will work on glass too. You will just have to be sure that it doesn't slide on you too easily. You can get stencils at craft stores and they will work. If you have a cricut machine you can make your own stencils as well with an adhesive on the back. When I did my bathroom windows I wanted Lillie's. So I searched "Lillie pictures jpg. Found many. Did the same for a large neon light cover. Wanted a tropical look, found a palm tree and birds I liked. I am still wondering how I got along without the internet to search for things. Happy painting and post your project.
