You can do it with paint alone. Another option is to paint the screen orange then add the face with felt or other material.

Spray paint them with the eyes nose and mouth black using a cut out stencil of cardboard. Then cover those areas with cardboard and spray the entire thing orange. Add a stem with a piece of branch cut to the right proportion for your screen and glue on with e-6000.
