I love the look of Boho style. To me, it just screams casual summer vibes! I decided to use some old jars I had to give my home a little budget friendly summer style.

I had some old jars that I had saved because I like the size and shape of each. They were a large pickle jar, a large mayo jar, and a salsa jar. I used these jars as they were as vases or lanterns but I know they would be perfect dressed up a bit! I had some leftover trim that I got on clearance from Hobby Lobby. It totally reminds me of macrame. I love the detail.and texture.

I measured the length I needed for each jar. I left a little extra for overlap to finish off the end.

I hot glued the trim around the jar. I tried to keep the trim as level as I could as I went.

I tucked the end over and glued it down for a more finished look.

This trim was pretty wide and I had to trim a little off the bottom for the smallest jar.

This was super simple and I think they look so cute! I can use them as a vase for summer blooms.

I can also add candles and use them as lanterns. I use flameless candles usually but they look real behind that trim and give a soft glow.

They look great either way and have great impact when I put them together. They definitely give that casual summer boho vibe I was looking for without the effort or cost of making or buying real macrame jar cozies!
