Attaching decorative planter to outdoor vinyl wall w/o damaging vinyl?

I want to attach a lightweight frame with a small pot to the outside wall and don't want it to be permanent and don't want to compromise the vinyl. Any thoughts?

Vinyl has very little structural strength compared with other building materials. Do not attach anything to it or the weight will distort the vinyl.

    outdoor command hooks

  • How heavy is it? Command strips are always awesome. But if it's not too heavy hot glue would do the trick. I use hot glue to hang my Christmas lights and stuff. When you're done with it just pick the glue off

There are special "hooks" you can buy at Menards, Lowes, etc that hook under the vinyl siding. I saw them for sale right next to the command hooks. They can be easily removed too. Great for hanging wreaths on outside walls.
