Different trim colour

Trim and doors in my basement I recently changed from a honey pine to a darker stain. My daughter wants white trim in her bedroom which is in the basement. Do you think I can have just 1 room with white trim and dark doors and leave everything else dark? I don’t want all the trim white

Yes, you can do the side of the doorway in her room with white trim and the outside of her room, you can keep the trim stained. It will look fine and the dark stained door will be fine for both sides.
