How do I decorate my bedroom when I hate the color of the walls?

I really don't like the color of the walls of my bedroom. Can't paint over it because I'm renting the room. It's also textured, which I don't like. What can I do to change the look of the room? It also has slanted walls, like an attic, but the ceiling itself is flat, also textured. Minimal holes in the walls would be good. The pics aren't the best, but you get the idea.
Sometimes a large wall tapestry does wonders. Another idea is to get a very wide curtain rod and fill the walls from one end to the other with curtains. You will lose wall space though so that's something to consider.
you can get large wall hangings (like tapestry) at target and wal mart and online like $20 bucks, you can get different ones for each wall or matching ones. also large posters all of these can be hung using push pins so minimal holes, hope this helps xx
If the walls are drywall, sheets are a good ideal. They give you lots of fabric for the money and will go almost floor to ceiling. Go to Big Lots, or Walmart and get the cheapest flat sheets you can get. Then buy a container of dressmaker pins in the sewing aisle -- with little round balls on the ends. White balls, if you can find them, although usually they just have solid yellow ones and multi-colored ones. You want the pins instead of thumb tacks because they leave almost invisible holes. Pin the sheets across the walls, overlapping seams a little. With a helper, do the same to the ceiling. Walmart even has some softly printed sheets if you want the look of wallpaper!
Joann: hang a couple of long curtain rods -- and use curtains or shower curtains!
