How do you get the hot-glue flip-flops off of the paper?

Tried to make the hot-glue flip-flops. Could not get them off of the paper. What kind of paper do you use?

I made a phone case with hot glue and i just wrapped my phone in a ziploc bag. Worked awesome for me! -

Not familiar with the project you are working on, but my guess would be butcher paper or parchment paper. -

Soak the paper in water until it comes loose.
