  • How about a tension rod and a curtain? You can use a pretty king or queen sized sheet which may be less expensive.

The only problem I can foresee is the sheets are too long and I don't have access to a sewing machine. Ideas?

I would also use a tension rod and some fabric sewn into curtains. Maybe you can incorporate the fabric into the room elsewhere so it looks intentional. Or, if you're into it, some bead curtains!

Shower curtains are cheap, pretty fabric and already come with grommets... just a suggestion.

Sorry, I hit enter too soon-- otherwise, you can use a moving screen, those popular sliding barn doors or you can install some type of door "bookcase" that is on wheels.

I agree with a tension rod + curtain. Cheap, and you can get really nice looking ones!

Tension rods are the frugal solution, but shower curtains probably will be to short. Walmart and or second hand stores have sheers inexpensive, and when there's enough gather in them it makes a nice added texture to the room with limited visibility into the closet. You can purchase brass clip on loops so they slide easilly.

Try hanging a tension rod and use a pretty shower curtain or bed sheet that matches the room
