Permanent: put in chair rail & either wall paper or a faux bead board paneling on the bottom & a complimenting paint color on top.

Paint the ceiling sky blue or something to tie into the living room’s color scheme.

Hang your UV-sensitive Art here, unless you’ve direct daylight on these walls.

Put in a stylish light fixture that drops down 6” or so.

Add mirrors, plants, and decor or photos. Gallery walls are popular for hallways. Paint a bright color. Add chair rail and panels or board & batten.

Paint, lighting and mirrors!

I like pictures on the wall, and a decorative ceiling paint job, and cove lighting is nice for a soft glow.
