We inherited this sewing machine from my mother-in-law and would love to restore it. Ideas? The wood siding has peeled up and the metal is rusted.
I would definitely hire this out. You don't want to mess with gas if you don't know what you are doing. Some areas require a permit even for a professional to install a gas stove.
I believe it would be cheaper and safer just to sell your electric stove and buy a gas one.
No! Buy a gas stove.
I would replace the electric unit with a gas one.
the electric stoves don’t have a place to hook up gas lines, the burners are way different. You’d spend as much to convert it as to get a second hand gas stove from habitats for humanity stores, or moving sale.
I agree, buy a new one.
