Home Depot and other hardware stores have wonderful mirror trim that is easy to install. I did mine in white trim due to my white molding and love it. -

I saw someone glue tiles right onto their builders grade mirrors. They used tape to hold it while it was drying nd it looked wonderful. -

a friend of mine collected heart shaped rocks on her walks and glued them to the frame along with driftwood and sphagnum moss could use shells too. -

For a natural look cut up circles of wood and stick around mirror.Cut up wooden pencils and stick on for a child's room.Make flowers from egg boxes, then paint.
