Quilt wall art?
I have a beautiful full size quilt that my Mother and Grandmother quilted many years ago. I want to display it as it is very beautiful, but it is rather fragile so I’m not inclined to use it on a bed. Any ideas on what to do? Maybe hang it on a wall?

You could frame it and hang it on the wall if you have the space. If you don’t have room for the entire quilt you could deconstruct it into smaller sections and display in a series. Get a rack and drape over it is another option.
You can use hanging triangles or a hanging sleeve. Here's a link with more information about them:

If it already has a hem on it with open casing, you can easily hang it. Find a dowel wide enough to fit the casing, put your hooks on the wall and hang it.

Also using an old ladder to display the quilt would help to keep it intact and not damage it.

Sandwich it between two pieces of molding, then hang it as high as you want, whole wall? Folded? Horizontal or vertical? If you have a tall open wall it could really make a statement.
It would be fabulous on the wall! It won’t get handled as much and you can display it anywhere - not just in a bedroom. :)
You can definitely hang it on a wall and that’s probably the best way to display it.
