I have a plastic deckbox and 2 plastic cabinets. They are stained and they will not come clean. What can I do with them? Paint? How and what to use....any other ideas? Thanks Karen

There are paints on the market especially made for palstic. Ask at you local hardware store or even Walmart. A friend just painted an old patio table (metal) then painted some ordinary plastic chairs to match ! Awesome !

  • I just painted some plastic flower pots with Rust-Oleum 2x, which is a primer and paint in one. It did a great job!

I had some luck cleaning a cooler in similar condition by sprinkling on ajax cleaner and scrubbing with brush. Between the scrubbing action and the bleach, it worked pretty well. If that doesn't work, I'd go with the Rust-oleum 2x

Krylon and Rust-o-leum both carry spray paint mad just for covering plastic. Fist clean it with a Mr. Clean magic eraser, let dry thoroughly, then spray on a new perky color!

I love Clorox Outdoors. It's amazing what it will clean that regular bleach won't.

They do make spray paint for plastic now that works really great and comes in a lot of colors. Not knowing how big they are you could also make some cushions for the tops and use as extra seating plus of course storage.

first off, I would recommend cleaning with Greased Lightning, then going over stains with a magic eraser. Then if you wish, paint it with Rust-Oleum® Specialty Paint For Plastic
