What projects do you need done in your house? Would you like to do crafts?
If you have a room where you have a work bench or isn't used much, you could do just about anything you want. You could make some things you want that you could even start and finish outdoors when it warms up enough. That would shorten the time it takes to make them during the summer. Most everything takes prep work before you can put the whole thing together and finish, even doing that will shorten the time it takes to finish a project outdoors. Perhaps you could build a shed you could work in during the summer, and store your started projects in during the winter to wait for summer.
You can do almost anything that doesn't require stinky or toxic paint that doesn't require a lot of ventilation. I use a corner of my basement to sand and I always wear a mask these days. I learned how important that is when I was sanding a project, then I immediately ran up my stairs to find something. I couldn't "catch my breath" and my Dr. said it was because of the sanding. It did go away but I learned. :) So the next question is, what would YOU like to make? Hometalk is full of projects that can be done indoors. Just go to the front page of https://www.hometalk.com/ and hover your mouse or click on "Browse" located along the top. Look at the categories and click on one to browse the projects. You can go back and look at other categories any time until you find something you'd like to do. Wishing you the best and happy crafting, remodeling or fixing. :)
Snow sculpture, knitting heavy wool clothing, teeth chattering competions ... Just kidding. I live lakeside in NE PA and sitting next to a 180 acre ice cube while it is colder than normal with winds that have been higher than normal is bracing, today we are at a balmy 6 degrees, but the wind is down. Most crafts can be an indoor activity. It is not the best time to do stinky crafts like spray painting or using oil based paints, but it is a great time for fabric based crafts. I find a good bit of inspiration on Pinterest. Believe me, if there is a place where people like to share their genius it is Pinterest.
