Creating a "Shelfie" {Styling a Book Shelf}

Styling a book shelf can be a little stressful, especially if you (i.e. me) overthink each little detail. I'm kind of OCD that way! :)
Laurel & Wolf provided great inspiration from their own site designers, and a chart of sorts to follow. The "chart" can be seen on my blog post. My goal was to create a shelf for a blogger's home office.
Using a mix of both vintage and modern/eclectic pieces, my look was assembled.
Most of the vintage items were old "office type" pieces, such as the Tom Thumb Typewriter.
I love to add a touch of "whimsy" to even my most serious, mature vignettes! The cute personalized cow cup fit that bill perfectly!
