There is fiber ceiling tiles in the bathroom. They've been water damaged and one section is beyond repair. I'm looking for something I can put up to cover the whole ceiling.

The tiles are removable and new ones are available. Take a full sized one in good shape to your local home improvement store along with the number of tiles you will need. Use old tiles as templates to make any cuts you need.

    I hope that helps

They now make wonderful tin-look tiles that are simple to cut and glue in place.

Hi Lisa. You can try to remove them and then prime with a water stain blocker and then paint. Maybe you can purchase replacement ones for the damaged ones. I would then paint those too so they all match.

If the leak is fixed, and its dry, put 1/4" drywall on the ceiling with drywall screws, tape and mud seams, screw heads, and edges, sand smooth, remud and sand again. I would watch some YouTube videos and enlist a friend to help.
