Construction adhesive in caulk tube. Liquid nails. Locktite Powergrab.

Thank's William... I did try the liquid nails... did not stick but the adhesive caulk tube would probably a excellent job.

    Hi Mitch,

Usually when your purchase ceiling tiles, the manufacturer will recommend the type of adhesive to use. That's where I'd look before trying anything else. Wishing you the best.

I would recommend PowerGrab but you should probably sand the area first for 2 reasons. (1) Smooth surface for the medallion to sit on (2) Better adhesion

remove the popcorn ceiling around where the edge of ornament will go so it has contact with ceiling not the textured coating apply adhesive stick it on; use hot glue if needed to hold it on until adhesive sets up enuf to hold it

I would think that if you want to attach something to your ceiling with glue, that you mean for it to be permanent. In that case I would remove all of the popcorn in the area above the ornament providing a clean, flat surface. Then attach the ornament to the ceiling with construction adhesive like, Liquid Nails.
