How to hide tack strip nail holes?
I am removing carpeting because I discovered a nice hardwood floor underneath. I will have many tack strips to remove and there will be lots of nail holes. Any suggestions as to how to hide them? Thanks. Renee

You can buy tinted wood filler at your local home improvement store... that should at least make them less noticeable!

Fill with stainable wood filler first. Then sand and finish the floors If you do not plan to sand the floors you can fill the holes with Minwax wood putty. Comes in all wood tones.

Put down a quarter round strip of woo over the tack holes, that is if there is a baseboard in place.
