How to do Paper bag flooring?

    It's a great look, isn't it? Takes lots of time and work.
    1. Tear paper bags - store type bags work better than sandwich bags since they are heavier paper. You can also use rosin paper (heavy paper used to protect flooring during construction), which is what I prefer.
    2. Working is small areas roll wallpaper paste on sub-floor. Place down torn pieces.
    3. When complete and dry, check edges not glued flat or bumps in paper. The surface should be completely flat. Re-glue or lightly sand to lay flat. You can also dampen bumps and flatten out.
    4. Use 3 to 4 layers of poly to seal. If staining or paint is desired, do before sealing.
