If you are trying to stop your furniture from scratching your hardwood flooring. You can add self adhesive felt pads to the legs of your furniture. They will also make the furniture easy to move around.
We had the same problem with our heavy solid oak chairs on a ceramic tile floor. To solve it we measured the bottom of the chair legs & went to the dollar store. They have felt pads in the size we needed. Just peel and stick.
Those pads are a life saver. And buying them at the dollar store, saves a bunch of money. They are the same kind that the hardware store sells.
