DIY MASON JAR HERB GARDEN

Great for a fun weekend project. Inexpensive, and too cute not to try!
Step 1: Cut 1ft. piece of pallet wood, or buy a small piece of wood (Home depot, Lowes, etc.) - Sand/Paint/Stain the wood to your liking...
Step 2: Gather the following..
  • 3 mason jars
  • 3 pluming pipe fasteners
  • 1 hot glue gun and some glue sticks
  • gardening soil
  • pebble (small) rocks
  • 3 packs of Herb Seeds (Parsley, Basil, cilantro)
  • wall brackets w/ screws
Step 3: Put fasteners around each mason jar, and fasten tightly.
Step 4: Arrange the jars on the wood.
Step 5: Hot glue them to the wood using the pipe fastener.
Step 6: Fill jars with a few rocks, then fill completely with soil.
Step 7: Screw in wall mounting brackets.
Step 8: Plant seeds according to packet directions.
Step 9: Hang on wall.
Step 10: Watch it grow!!!
