it seems that Ohio is in zone 5-6 and callas do best in zones 8 -10 but that doesn't mean you can't have them. I am in PA and I have them in a large planter outside and they seem to be fine right now.Helpful Reply -

I plant calla lily bulbs, canna lily bulbs, and dahlia bulbs every spring and dig and store the bulbs over winter in Wisconsin. They grow great; just fertilize and keep them well watered. Canna's multiply so fast I have to leave some in the ground every year just to get rid of them.Helpful Reply -
