i am starting a flower garden around the back perimeter of my yard I’m wondering if I can mix a lot (100s)of different seeds together to have a mixture of plants growing together or is there a better way to have a colorful row of flowers?
thanks

Generally if you plant multiple seeds into a hole, if both plants grow out you will have to cut, kill or transplant the secondary (usually weaker) plant

Yes that is okay. If you want a “wildflower garden” the seeds can be added to clay balls and dropped in the area and released as rain washes away the clay. I purchased a biodegradeable mat of mixed seeds. Lay mat in bed and water allowing seeds to germinate in mat and grow. When I sprinkled a mix of seeds in a bare area none grew. My guess is they needed better soil. A link attached to get you started. Hope this helps.
