Yes Marlene plant it outside so it gets some sun and next spring it will come back and guess what? It will multiply.
Yes cutting them off helps plant to store energy for spring blooms.
Marlene,You know not to cut them off after blooming but before they swell up making seed pods.
Marlene, That would depend on where you live. I was just looking at them tonight at Publix's but I live in Lee County, Florida. The tag on the flower should give you the information you need. Rick Allen
