How to care for a gardenia plant?
I ordered a 6" potted gardenia plant. Love this flower but plants always seem to beg to die in my care. Would love some advice on caring for this plant. Will be kept inside and at this point has no blooms. Can give it some morning sun and then pl;ace on windowsill with just ordinary light. It presently is in a plastic pot with draining holes, would prefer to keep it that way. Help please. Gypsy

If you leave it in the nursery container, it is just a matter of time before it dies. Must be repotted and give the roots a chance to breathe and grow. They typically do better in ground than in a container, but it can be done with proper care and the right size planter.
