there are planting calender's on line. you will need to use your zip code.google "average last frost date for (zip code)" it should give you a date for your area. here in iowa the last average frost date for my area is may 15. yours will be different. the plants have their own schedule..... -

I am in Brooksville FL in zone 9b so it says april 2nd, you are north of me so probably a little later in April -

I am in Lakeland, about 100 miles kinda south. I'd expect you to see new buds about May.
