What is the best way to over-winter ivy geraniums?
Frost is coming in a few days, and I have several large hanging (Ivy) geraniums that I'd like to keep over the winter. What would be the best way to store? Located in NW Connecticut.

I bring mine inside during the winter. Make sure they get sunlight and light watering periodically. Root rot is the biggest issue about bringing inside during the winter, so they don’t need much water at all
I have done this with regular geraniums, pull them out of their soil and shake as much off as possible, cut off the tops about five inches above the roots and hang in a cool dark place for the winter. I put them back outside side in fresh soil or the ground as soon as frost danger has passed. They were equally nice again. Good luck.
