Hi Rob,Now through early winter. Do any pruning, thinning shaping- it's easy to see the shape when the levels are gone.Crape myrtle blooms on new wood. Pruning encourages the plant to thrive once spring hits.Helpful Reply -

If by some chance your area has already had its first freeze (less than 32*F for more than four hours), wait until the usual date for the last freeze before you prune. Your crepe myrtle might live through a late autumn pruning, but you would be exposing the root stock to permanent damage. It sometimes helps to ask your neighbors what they do, fast! 😇Helpful Reply -
