How can I save my Christmas cactus?

apparentely cactus do not like cool rooms so mine look almost dead is there any thing i can do or are they gone for good

I keep mine in south window,water weekly- easy peasy
They do like a lot of somewhat indirect sunlight, I always forget to water mine and it's thriving!
