How come my Gerbera Daisy plants grow 2 headed daisies , etc?

    Could be a mutation of the plant and harmless. Or This could be caused by aster yellows disease. If the rest of the plant looks different in any way, or other nearby plants look like they may be struggling, it may be best to remove them so disease doesn't spread. The disease presents differently in different plants. Disease is spread by knat like insects called aster leafhoppers. It is more important to find out if you have a vegetable garden as it can be very detrimental to those plants.

    Apparently, this flower is among the species more likely to sport conjoined flowers. Like Adinna said, it is possible that it is a mutation resulting from leafhoppers.

    Harmless. Mine do this at times. Never had any problems with any of my other plants.

    I think ii is apparent that that is what some gerber daisy do.May sound odd but there actually are some that are grown to produce multiple flowers off a single stem.

    You have to treat the plant every 3-4 days and the soil every 7 -10 days with insecticides for thrips
