Bernadette....Attach a picture..there are a lot of people that know plants really well on Hometalk and I am sure you will get an answer.

  Hello, Thank you for adding the picture. These are interesting plant ID challenges, sadly I cannot enlarge the photograph to see details of the leaves which is an important determining ID factor.
  
  My guess with a look at the miniture thumbnail would be is this plant below.
