My back yard is wooded and has a small stream running thru it. This year in one section a bunch of bamboo plants sprang up. How do I eliminate them?

I dug mine up . Can't let any joint lay on ground or it will take root. They are about like digging tree roots. Took me and spouse a good month to dig them. Good luck with getting rid of your.

You can sell it. I did a little research and found a Q/A site that addresses some if not all the things you might need. Some people say it's a great cash crop. You can also harvest it to eat and it tells you what part to eat as well. I would not just cut and burn. More and more people are using it for flooring, garden items and they even make yarn out of it. If you have teens...perhaps a little business to teach them marketing and money. Good luck!
