How often should you replace the soil in your garden?

My family's farm is over 100 years old. Other than amending the dirt, it's never been completely removed and the farm has been in continual production for all those years.Helpful Reply -

Don't replace you just add things in to "amend" every year. In my small gardens, I add some peat moss, manure and a bag of top soil every year. I have clay soil, so I am always battling that.Helpful Reply -
