How to help my "chicken and hens" succulents?
As my plants grow the lower leaves turn brown and crumbly. What am I doing wrong and how do I fix it?

If outdoors, water once every other week, and for indoor watering once a month or longer. Signs that you are over watering will show the leaves turning yellow and almost “rotting” off the plant. Under-watering succulents will show the leaves turning brown and shriveling.
It depends on the time of year and the kind of plant it is. Most plants indoor or out do lose some leaves eventually anyway. But can't answer more without knowing the plant and if potted or outside in the ground. some need more or less water, others need to be fed some kind of fertilizer or need more root space- hard to tell.
